Hardik is in the United Arab Emirates for the second leg of the 2021 IPL which is due to start next month and he is playing for the Mumbai Indians. The second phase of the IPL 2021 will begin with a match between the Hardik team, the defending champions Mumbai Indians, and the three-time champions Chennai Super Kings.
As it stands, the Mumbai Indians are ranked fourth on the IPL 2021 table and Chennai is second on the points table with 10 points.
Hardik is the most marketable athlete, Kohli pips
Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya also achieved another great achievement as the Indian all-rounder reached 11th on the list of the most marketable sportsmen published by SportsPro 50 presented by Greenfly. He is the only Indian in the top 50 and it is so surprising because the list does not include Indian captain Virat Kohli.
Even Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan is ranked 47th on the list. Kohli is one of the highest paid Indian professional athletes with a net worth of over Rs 200 crore from match fees and other endorsements.
The SportsPro roster is led by American gymnast Simone Biles, followed by Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka. The list also features names like Cristiano Ronaldo, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Novak Djokovic and Paulo Dybala in the top 10. But surprisingly, PSG star and Argentine soccer player Lionel Messi is also missing from the list.
Hardik joined this list. The versatile Indian has some very expensive watches in his collection like Patek Phillipe, Rolex, etc. and he owns a luxury apartment in Mumbai with his brother Krunal Pandya, the Indian and Indian all-rounder in Mumbai.
