The watch in question was a limited edition model in the colors blue and orange, d worth north of $100,000.
Professional boxer Amir Khan and his avant-garde Franck Muller
Another recent victim of watch theft is professional boxer Amir Khan. He had his £72,000 diamond-encrusted Franck Muller Vanguard chronograph stolen at gunpoint while out with his wife Faryal Makhdoom in east London. The 35-year-old announced the theft in a tweet where he described the whole scene.
I just had my watch taken away at gunpoint in east London, Leyton. I crossed the road with Faryal, luckily she was a few steps behind me. 2 men ran towards me, he asked for my watch while having a gun pointed at my face. The main thing is that we are both safe.
